Propensity To Default is a predictive model that identifies the likelihood that a residential property will become a mortgage default (aka pre-foreclosure) within the next 12 months. The data can be used by real estate investors and agents looking for homeowners who may be motivated to sell or list their property soon. Conversely, mortgage servicing companies may want to use this data to perform early reach out to properties within their portfolios that may have a higher risk of defaulting in the next 12 months.
