Snowflake ATTOM™ FAQs
What is Snowflake Secure Data Sharing?
Snowflake enables the sharing of data through “shares” created by data providers (like ATTOM) and shared directly with data consumers (like you). This lets us share curated datasets directly with your Snowflake account. No data transfer, duplication, or ETL is required — just instant access.
How do I get access to ATTOM’s property data via Snowflake?
If you already have a Snowflake account, you can share your account information with us, and we can grant you access to our data. If you’re new to Snowflake or don’t have an account we can help you get started in minutes.
What’s included in the data share?
You’ll get access to high-quality property data, neighborhood and geospatial datasets curated by ATTOM, including attributes like ownership, transaction history, valuations, and more. The exact scope depends on your data subscription.
How often is the data updated?
Data update frequency varies by dataset—some are refreshed daily, while others are updated monthly or quarterly. Once updates are made, they are reflected in Snowflake in near real time. All updates are managed by ATTOM — no action is needed on your part.
Do I need to move or store the data myself?
No. With Snowflake, there’s no need to copy or manage the data. You query it live in place, and ATTOM handles the storage.
How is pricing handled?
Snowflake uses a consumption-based pricing model, meaning you pay only for the compute and storage resources you use. For a detailed breakdown, visit Understanding overall cost | Snowflake Documentation and Overview of warehouses | Snowflake Documentation.
At ATTOM, we typically cover storage costs, so you’re only responsible for compute usage when querying data. In most cases, customers find this model to be more cost-effective than traditional data delivery methods.
Is the data secure?
Yes. Snowflake’s Secure Data Sharing ensures private access. Only your Snowflake account can access the share.

Can I join ATTOM’s data with my own Snowflake datasets?
Absolutely. You can join ATTOM’s datasets with your internal data for richer analytics, all within the Snowflake platform.
